Firmware updater V1.28 for USB 2.0 Multi-Card Reader
Description
This firmware upgrade allows early versions of the RW018 Multi-Card Reader to read and write to 256 MB and 512
MB xD Picture Cards. It is required only for customers who use higher capacity xD Picture Cards. This updater only works
on Windows based computers. If you have a Macintosh computer, please contact Lexar Technical Support for the upgrade.
This update is not required for Rev C readers or greater.
Product Affected
Part Number RW018 Rev A or RW018 Rev B of the Multi-Card Reader.
The part number is found on the back label of the reader.

Instructions
Before beginning the process
- Make sure your computer is connected to and AC power source and not using batteries
- Remove all media from the Multi-Card Reader
- Plug your reader into the USB port on your computer
Download the file to your computer
Launch the application RW018FW v1_28.exe
Follow on-screen instructions
In a few moments, the update will be complete and you will be asked to disconnect the reader from your computer. You
must do this in order to begin using the new functionality.
